My hair has become an object of obsession for the last 2 years.

I definently have a mature hairline, but no matter how many people told me on here that I AM NOT balding past that, it was always on my mind, also it was incredibly hard to style.

So do yourself a favour and try to kill 2 birds with one stone, go to a high end hair salon, ask the guy to cut your hair to a style that suits you, and ask him if you are balding whilst you are at it. Chances are he has seen 100000ss of balding/non balding heads, and he will give you an honest answer, and will advise you what hairstyle to have if you are balding.

Wish I had done this MONTHS ago.

Interesting,

When i was 11, yes 11 my hair dresser told me i couldn't have spikey hair, because any gel would make my scalp visible given how fine my hair was

She was quite right.

How is topical spironolactone working out for you?

Every things a mish mash at the moment I'm using spironolactone only on my hairline, which is a precaution more than anything, so i can't really give it a big thumbs up.

I do know that as soon as i started putting on my crown 2 * daily, as well as rev that's when the male pattern baldness itch started to get a lot better, well it disappeared.

Alas i should update my regimen because as I'm slapping RU on my crown at the moment (I'd already bought it before i started trusting rev + spironolactone so thought i should use it)

Unfortunately the boards are full of people like me who jump from treatment to treatment, although I'll stick with RU for at least 6 months as it's stopped all itching.

I used topical spironolactone for a while around my hairline, hairline defiantly did not get worst and it maintained my velius hair around the temples.

Really good sh*t.

How is revivogen?

I would never have trusted it on its own, that's when adding the spironolactone helped. I didn't find it overwhelmingly greasy but it did 'stick around' for a bit.

I've still got about six months worth, which i'm happy to put on my head, but in terns of drying and not having to explain anything to people (think ladies) ru seems better.

If there were no better options than rev + spironolactone, I'd be happy to trust it them both.
