After years of trying hair loss topicals, my scalp has become incredibly sensitive. i think it might be an allergy or contact dermatitis. i do not get a rash or anything but my scalp gets inflamed by certain shampoos and topicals now. its often in the hair loss areas where it itches, but it often happens an hour or so after i applied something to my scalp or washed my hair.
I have told my doctor about it, but he doesn't think anything is wrong due to having no rash or any other sign other than the itch.
