Thick Crystalized Sebum Plaque Over Surface Of Scalp; Preventing Regrowth?

I was looking at my scalp using my 200X magnifying digital scope and couldn't help but notice that my scalp always looks like a glazed doughnut and a number of my hair follicles looked like they were plugged with sebum. When I applied pressure with a blackhead removal tool chunks of crystallized sebum emptied out of the follicles that contained miniaturized hairs or were currently "dead." The way the waxy substance came out of my follicle was reminiscent of the yellowish-brown buildup that comes out of a pore when a blackhead is extracted. After noticing this problem I decided to add Nizoral and a 3% salicylic acid shampoo to my regimen while allowing for off-days in-between the use of those two products. Is this the best approach for handling this condition? Nizoral alone in the past left my hair feeling incredibly lifeless and wispy but when I used the salicylic acid shampoo earlier today my scalp felt moisturized and healthy for the first time in many years.

Lastly... would sebum plaque that plugs follicles have a direct connection to hair miniaturization and limited regrowth? My DHT level's are very low but two months after buying my microscope I have yet to see ONE healthy looking hair grow back anywhere on my scalp.

I was using Nizoral 1% 3x weekly but this was too harsh on my hair. Worth noting - I have been doing 8+ mile jogs as of the past couple of months and I was only cleaning my hair with "moisturizing" shampoo. From what I've been reading sweat can wreak havoc on your scalp. I've always had dandruff but nothing major.. this is odd as my scalp looked like it was oozing clear gel from follicles. My new strategy will be to use minoxidil 5% 1x a day 2 hours before showering. On the days I work out I will still apply 2 hours before working out but when I finish cardio I will use a SA 3% scalp or Nizoral.

My idea is: sebum is crucial for a heaalthy hair but if its flow stop in the inner part of follicle we can have problems. Sebum, passing the time, gets rancid and have inflammatories properties, also remember that sebum contain DHT....

Have any photos in this issue of your case?

Thank you guy
Impacting images....

BTW you seem have a good hair density, please try to mantain your hair, jojoba wax as a lotion can be useful.

I download your video, so anyone can see that control the sebum is important to avoid common hairloss.

Yeah, i've always had the thick buildup.

Resembles burned oil in consistency.

Some people still say that sebum causes male pattern baldness
