Does anyone know anything about the tablets that the ADvanced Hair Studio (UK) are selling for ridiculous prices of £35.00 for 30 tablets??

They were £20 for 30 tablets 3 months ago, but i quote 'As they are so amazingly good they are worth every penny'

Not tried them but sernoa reopens, which AHS sell, are nothing more than Saw Palmetto...it's just another name. You can buy these from Holland and Barrett for less than £5.

Ok let's get this straight. Serenoa Repens (Saw Palmetto) Berry EXTRACT can be bought at most over the counter pharmacies, nutrition centers, WAL MARTS, grocery stores, and even most online vitamin shops for less than 10 dollars for a 6 month supply.

If you are getting the tablets, then you are probably getting the berry powder form, which is essentially useless. Studies have shown that the Standardized Saw Palmetto extract in fatty oils are far more effective than the berry powder form. I'd cite some research, but meh.. i'm lazy.

Post the ingredients up if you know them but sounds like the others are right, its probably a total rip off for just saw palmetto pills.

This proves the value of forums like these, there are so many scam companies just waiting to rip people off, at least here you have a chance to educate yourself!

I was taking those advanced hair seronoa tablets for around 6 month, i was also paying $35 a month. When i found out they were the same as any other saw palmatto i bought the cheaper ones online. Then when i came to this forum and reseached about saw palmatto i stopped taking it all together :yeah:

Believe it or not there are no ingredients on the packet!!

All it says is:

INDICATIONS: Serenoa inhibits the action of the enzyme 5 alpha reductase, found in the scalp tissue and involved in the formation of DHT. Serenoa inhibits the production of DHT, held to be a root cause of hair loss.

Thought it was a legal requirement to have ingredients on everything sold in the UK?[/b]

Its saw palmetto - probably crap ones by the sound of it as they need to be at least 85% Fatty Acids and Sterols to have any effect on DHT at all.
