Hi Guys,

I'm new to this forum and I've been reading a lot of the posts on here about various hair loss treatments. Seems like the only was to find out the truth is from forums like this.

I am nearly 50 years old and have gradually been losing my hair. It is definitely genetic related. I still have quite a bit of hair but definitely noticing some thinning. I went for a consultation to Advance Hair Clinic and after inspecting my hair the consultant told me to use the Theradome Laser Helmet and Saw Palmetto supplements (320mg) a day. Since I am unable to use minoxidil due to blood pressure medications I am taking, he said I should expect significant thickening and regrowth in bald patches after 12 months. He is charging me $1275 for the laser helmet and $60 for 2 months supply of the saw palmetto. I am worried about the side effects of taking saw palmetto as I have read that in can cause liver and pancreas damage over time. Also, whilst I have heard of many positive results from using the laser theradome helmet, I am worried about hair falling out during the treatment. I am not experiencing much hair loss at the moment. Just a few strands here and there but very minor. Can anyone tell me if the laser helmet results in much of your hair falling out ?

Anyone with 5 minutes of hair loss research and an ounce of integrity will tell you that your options are finasteride and minoxidil (minus dutasteride and experimentals).

Its funny you posted this because I own a Theradome helmet..I was about to start using it again, it seemed like it made my hair grow faster but not sure if it did much more for me..at the time I was using it as a stand alone treatment...I think you need to pair llt with Finasteride to be more effective...In any case, stop seeing this guy he is taking advantage of you with those prices. You can buy a brand new Theradome from their website for $800. Honestly, Id sell you mine for $500..

Theradome official website sells LH80 Pro for $895 USD = $1103.18 AUS.

If you can get Drs. Best or Saw Palmetto Harvest Company saw palmetto, those have tested consistent in higher quality and standardized active ingredients.
