i would not say avodart for proven long term its been proven 6months to work good for some, but 5 years no one is clear yet. until avodart has a similar trial like propecia did for 5 years i would not recommend yet

id say 1mg finasteride every day with rogain foam 2x a day plus nizoral 2 times a week should be what young balders should go with. in a few years once dutasteride has more proof it works better then finasteride in the long run then id say dutasteride instead of finasteride. for stronger thicker hair i would also recommend they use msm vitamin but that would be optional but im getin great results so far with msm for 3 months.

That's a huge loading dose. Based on the web site you gave, I think they speculate that the "loading dose" was intended to grow back as much hair as possible, and then the 0.5mg was for maintainence of that new hair. A loading dose of 2.5mg/day for 10 days would be more common place.

I would go with Revita instead of Nizoral, and add Tricomin.

I would love to be able to afford that much dutasteride

i also think they wanted to use as much of the drug as possible to show off how much hair they can grow in 6 months. and only show 6 month results. id love to see 5 year results on that dosage. it be funny if they end up lower then propecia in the long run or 10 times better then propecia hair count wise.

I don't see how 0.5 mg a day can maintain any extra gains that 2.5 mg would give you over what 0.5 a day all along would have. the concentration of avodart in the system will drop after dropping to the lower dose so yeah

i don't understand the "load" thing either, you are going to regress from the initial dosage, or get less results with then end dosage regardless of initial dose
