Google has been serving some helpful Links up onto our main site for awhile, and although they mix in some undesireable ones sometimes, they give us a filter we can use to get rid of them and leave the helpful things.

So we added them to the forums today, and ... as luck would have it, a bunch of Avacor and Saw Palmetto (Hah!) Links popped up.

SIGH.......

We'll be filtering those out momentarily. Most of these actually are some pretty helpful Links that provide products that can assist with appearance of hair, some resources for generic proscar, places to acquire Avodart, special deals on concealers like Toppik and Couvre, etc. They *should* be beneficial to everyone.

Please be advised: (and we're doing an article on this in the February newsletter). One of the links goes to something called "Anagen Jump-Start" hair treatment. The webpage uses verbage like "new hair growth will be thicker". etc. Be advised, this is an example of a site that sells a product that can thicken the hair shaft. It's a cosmetic product only... not a hair loss *treatment* per se. Don't get confused. If we leave it up there, its a product that can help with the appearance of your hair. Some of the sites like these word their sentences like its a hair loss treatment, but if you read closely, its just a harmless product intended to help people with thin hair make their hair look thicker. Kind of tricky, but still helpful to note.

Also, be advised that if you're reading a thread on a topic of some kind, helpful links may appear on those very topics at the top. Its considered "intelligent linking". Kind of neat. But if you see a link that goes to a scam product, please let us know right away so we can filter it out.

THAT SAID......

We've also added the "Latest News" box in the upper left corner. The articles there are exclusive to HairlossTalk and cannot be found anywhere else. There will also always be a link to the latest newsletter there. Keep your eyes peeled for announcements and new articles. This should help keep everyone aware of whats going on in hair loss, and provide some educational reading material for everyone.

Thanks again to everyone for participating here.
