I am with you,
"the availability of sophisticated technology."

A important step could be investigate if childrens hav DHT in scalp hairs, my investigation point out that childrens have an operative and fully functioned hormonal system in scalp hair, then we can start to develope a real prevention/cure for this problem.

You don't need complex modeling tools to UNDERSTAND hairloss so as to cure it.

You simply need a FUNCTIONAL cure, e.g. immunizing all hair follicles with androgen resistent HF cells, or mass producing HFs and transplant the hell out of it.

Sadly, with our current medical regulation system, even that cannot be delivered.

Funny you mention this. I'm transitioning into the tech sector and am learning about (trying to, rather) machine learning as we speak. If it can be used to make a self-driving car, which is now a very real thing, I'd only hope it can be used to ascertain trends in health/immunology that lend to new cures and treatments.

Any experienced techies out there who know if this is something to await with eager anticipation, or just a naive pipe dream?

So when do you think this virtual human model will hit the market?

why can't they plant artificial hair follicles ?
i mean, we have artificial organs, why not artificial hairs ?

i swear everyone's brain shuts down when they try to solve this bullshit. i should've studied biology instead of CS.
there is a fortune to be made, but everyone seems to think with his *** when it comes to baldness.
