The Mercado Chart seems to be a better representation. There seems to be two distinct types of progression. Are there two types of male baldness??

Your hair loss is more likely a combination of the two. Few guys develop just one.

Very, very rarely do you see anyone who recedes way far back past the middle of their head without becoming diffuse and/or developing a bald spot.

The norwood chart isn't about tracking balding development. It's about where you end up in the end when your hair is finally finished falling out. Most of us diffuse guys would probably end up in the NW4-NW6 category. None of us are really NW2, because NW2 describes people who reach that state and then don't bald anymore. An NW1 is the same way. We aren't NW1s who bald to NW3s and then NW5, we're NW5s that are trying to keep all our hair while we stll have most of it.

I see. Well it does say the two types are often combined. This pic could almost exclusively be a Type 1C. And will unlikely be prevented by known treatments.

its not a matter of being wrong or right

both those charts just gauge the amount on hair loss

so you have something to compare too

On its website, author is suggesting two different types of male pattern baldness with each having its own cause.

Not sure about human beings. I'm thinking more like Martian Pattern Baldness :alien:

I'd be "freaked out" myself if I actually come across an earthling who looked like the one modeled here

Really, my author picked out the stuffs hunter-gatherer men do and wrote it in my regimen.

I would really want to debate with you, but you obviously copy and paste every "scientific study" you posted here.

BUT you also showed that you don't even understand them. It's obvious to me why you are spending your time here.
