The hair on the side of my head grows straight out!!!

Anybody else have this problem. I am full of envy when I see what I consider to be normal growth patterns on other heads. My hairs grow straight out, rather than along-side my head. I'm going to look ridiculous when I lose all my hair on the top!!

Are there any remedies to this? Maybe I can use pomade just on the sides, but I don't want the sides to look wet while the top looks dry.

Hey consider yourself lucky. The hair on the left side of my head grows Forward. Yes ... i said forward. Down the right side of my hairline to my sideburns, it grows downwards like normal. Down the left side it actually grows towards the center of my forehead and in an upwards swoop.

Have to artificially trim it to look like a normal shaped "side of the head" hairline.

As far as products, there are several which look dry but control the hair. Ask a stylist for something waxy or similar which can do this.

As I have receded, my hair has started to grow crazy directions. It sucks. It was never like this either. I'd cut it shorter, but I'm afraid to expose my growing forehead, so I wear a hat, and I don't even like hats.

How about this?! The hair on my left side sticks out and the other side doesn't, especially when I have it cut. I have always had that problem with that side. The barbers always hated me because they couldn't get both sides even.

These growth patterns are interesting... personally all my regrowth grows slanted to the right meaning i know have a natural quiff! and some of the hairs are jet black and resemble fly legs while the rest has turned a dark brown. Weird! Also the hair on my chin is ginger whle the rest is black, guess i have a rogue ginger gene in me somewhere. My hair seems to be representative of all hair colours... No idea what s going on
