I still have to wear my hat out, so you dont have to be too jealous yet! I dont have a 'dramtic' change to show anyone yet. I analayze my hair every day and Ive seen enough to know what's going on, but these changes are slow and subtle.
My hair on the top has darkened and thickened considerablly compared to the span of 4 months ago to 2 years ago. The very notcieable vellus and dark hairs showing up on previously vacant areas is a definite response, not a cosmetic one yet.
The one stray thick dark hair that was just hanging out by itself a half inch down in front of the hairline for the longest time, now has three new dark terminals growing in right beside it and thick vellus all around the vicinity.
I've used that one stray hair as a marker since my regimen began and is now a part of my phantom hairline (vellus). All of this means success to me. Im at the point right now I believe that all the vellus is now starting to turn dark and I should have a substantial cosmetic difference in 2 or 3 more months.
I correlate 'substantial regrowth' with a much less noticeable vertex (it was and is very thin) and a thick, continuous army of hair on a hairline that has moved up and forward from baseline.
So far, I am very happy with what's going on as a prelude to better things. Does all this not sound more typical to what most people have experienced? Is this considered a 'great' response?
Im critical to the point of being able to detect subtle changes in my hair. Maybe it's becasue my hair was so thin, flat, and limp before I started and its easier to detect. I'd just like to know where I stand with the rest of people's success on a regimen. What about you, techprof? Didn't you notice these changes after a few months? Vellus? Thickness?
