The correlation between DHT, acne, oily skin, athlete's foot, fungal infections, etc.

Something I've come to notice over the last few years....

I have the absolute oiliest skin. I wash with PanOxyl (10% benzoyl peroxide acne wash) and I have to wash my face at least 4-5 times per day to stay looking normal because my face gets shiny and it looks like I'm drenched in grease. My face has been this way since I was 16....I'm 24 now. I still get awful acne if I don't wash my face with this soap. Indicator of high DHT?

I also have awful athlete's foot, jock itch. I feel like inclination to these is due to sebum production containing DHT.

My scalp itches constantly and I feel like I'd need to shower 3 times a day with 2% nizoral and Apple Cider Vinegar in order to keep the scalp itch at bay.

Does anyone think there's a correlation between these things?

Hey man I'm on the same boat as you. I'm not sure how dht plays a roll in sebum production but I feel it does some how. I have very oily skin, not bad acne but enough to still annoy me and lots of body hair. It all could be a result of just high dht levels I suppose.
