The biggER 3 = Dutas, Nizoral 2% and Rogaine Foam plus topical spironolactone and MSM for kicks. This is the new regimen I started 2 weeks ago (except the foam still waiting on that).

Dutas - after 2 weeks at 0.5mg a day I've noticed or rather felt a big increase in shedding. Seems to be mostly the thin white hairs esp. in front which is probably good news however concerned that the front is looking dramitcally more sparse then before and all in just 2 weeks. However after over a year on Procepia in which time my hairloss rapidly increased I thought I give this a one last shot, probably pretty stupid as its the same just more powerful but what else can I do. Though I started finasteride when I was slightly thinning in the temples, was undetectable and now well its really bad so maybe finasteride might be causing it too get worse, however if that were true why on the usual male pattern baldness affect areas. Oh well I started Dutas now and i'm not stopping for a full year NO MATTER WHAT ( with the except of sides like gyno, screw that). Also since coming off procepia and starting dutas I've gained a slight increase in libido, not much but def. something.

Nizoral 2% - Whoa, putting this stuff in your hair is like using a strong gel esp. when you wash it out, hair is so thick feeling. However I've only used this twice so far and it burns slightly when its in, though I must say my scalp has never felt 'cleaner/more free' before. This was reccommended to me by my doctor who diagnosed me with ser. dermatitis. Do you guys condition after using and do you use regular shampoo on the off days?

Topical spironolactone - too ealy too notice I guess, not a hassle but smells pretty bad up close, my GF hates it, though I bet she'd hate me completely bald more.

Foam - waiting on my order. Really scared about this though as I've read many horror stories and very few positives plus generic liquid did nothing for me like the procepia only increased hairloss (probably not the min itself but definitely didnt help). Is this worth trying guys? Or should I wait to see how the rest go? Def. need some guidance here, please assist.

Mental Health - Listing this as treatment as I think this is by far the worst thing about hairloss, self perception. This has cost me so much and if I continue to let it its going to leave me alone and suicidal, i'm already a reclusive angry/moody shell of my former self. I'm starting to see a Psychologist as I guess hairloss isnt really the problem, dont get me wrong, I think it is, I'm always saying how my life would be perfect if i had my hair back but when I really think about it, it wasnt before the hair started going, even though I have a great job and live with a model and my friends always say that i've got it all I know i've never been happy and always so self consious. Before the hair it was something else and even though now those faults mean nothing I'm sure if my hair grew back i'd start to obsess about them again. And hoenstly if i'm that superfical I cant leave the house to visit my family and friends because of my hair then there's a bigger problem there, and i'm man enough to admit it so its time to get to the 'root' of the problem.

Anyway if these dont work then nothing will. Hairloss has started the war and is ruining my life so I've called down the thunder and its time for shock and awe baby, shock and awe. I may lose my hair but i'm going down swinging and if after another year my hairloss continues (and if it continues at this rate i'll have none anyway as I went from massively thick no loss at all to about a norwood 3 with a bald spot with diffuse thinning all on top and at front in about a year and a half, god it hurts all while on the big three. Its kinda weird diffuse though, like temples and bald spot are typical but the thinning is happening in lines from back to front, like grooves in my hair) then i'll stop all treatments and wait and hope for a cure.

I'll let you guys know how it goes but if anyone can suggest something i;m missing or can give me some advice on the foam i'd really appreciate it, I know Libertine has had some great success with it (nice one mate) but i think he seems to be the only one, just cant shake the feeling if the liquid didnt work why would the foam. Anyway this my last stand

Anyway have a great day guys.

The foam works for more people than the liquid, apparently.

I'm glad you realise that fixing the inside of your head is just as important as fixing what's on top of it :) do you have any plans for that?

Good luck mate :)

I was finasteride from 02-06, then big 3 (finasteride, min foam, nizoral 2%) since 1.1.06. I just started spironolactone 5% too. it's a bit of work to do spironolactone and min in the morning, so i do plan at some point to only go once a day on the foam.
