My understanding is that the sides and back of head are not affected by DHT from every report that I have read on the subject. How is it then that the temples right above and forward of the ears are able to push closer towards the eyes with new hair? My whole vertical side-hairline (temples) are in fact pushing forward with new hairs.
The low sides above and going back behind the ears are also looking thicker and darker when before, they were pretty thin and could see thin streaky lines about 4 inches long above the ears. My diffuse top and receded temples is telling me either male pattern baldness or male pattern baldness with a slight case of Telogen Effluvium. Im taking my things to treat male pattern baldness, but Im also on vitamins and other things which are known to treat Telogen Effluvium. So just how much does DHT affect the side/low temple areas?
