Temples going down

my temples has recently thinned alot and i can pickup thin hairs and pull them back and see clearly bald spot :shock:
im 18 and i need a advice that if i should start finasteride, because for the looks of it, im going same way as my father . Im scared of side effects but also i wanna keep my hair and thicken :hairy:

if you are scared of the side effects then you can use spironolactone which is applied topically and not as prevalent for side effects as finasteride. Otherwise use finasteride and if you experience side effects that do not go away simply discontinue.
