Temple regrowth question

When my temples receded back when I started losing my hair, each side receded about the same amount evenly. Now that I am starting to get some regrowth, I have noticed that one of my temples I'd filling in quicker than the other. Is this pretty common or have others experienced this? Thanks for any replies.

My regrowth was very patchy initially, and even after a hair transplant on my temples one side seemed to thicken quicker than the other. I'm sure I've read comments from a number of people indicating that irregular regrowth is pretty common (and even the norm).
