Telogen effluvium

I have been diagnosed with telogen effluvium by a dermatologist. I've lost a good deal of hair over the past two months or so. The whole thing has me in a rough mental state. Does anybody have personal experience with telogen effluvium? Any advice?

Be carefull. How old are you? I was Diagnosed with Telogen Effluvium as well. Been Ten months and no end in sight. I am now on propecia as I think it is male pattern baldness. Dont mess around and wait if you are a mid 20's male it may be aggressive male pattern baldness. I wish I had gotten on treatment earlier. Now I have to wait 6 months for the propecia to work and I dont know if I will have anything left. I had a thick head 10 months ago

Yep, go and see another dermatologist in order to make sure you are actually suffering of Telogen Effluvium and not Telogen Effluvium with MBP! You might also post pictures, most users can spot MBP better than many doctors.
