What I'm trying to figure out is if the hair loss I've been experiencing for the past 7 ish years has been largely attributed to stress induced through anxiety with the job I've been working at for the same amount of time. Back in 2010, I'd never had a job before and I began at a local McDonald's. Being scared out of my mind, I stuck with it. I've always had anxiety all my life and school, but it was only from working at McDonald's did my anxiety begin to put my body in an almost constant stressful state. Constant fear of consequences and largely being about the only able body person at times to do physically demanding things, put a lot of stress on myself. I was called "squirrely" because I'd be jumping around, back and forth with a basic sense of being overly scrambled. Trying to do everything at once. For a period of time, during our truck deliveries, I'd be trying to put supplies away so quickly I'd not been lifting things improperly that over time I'd eventually started developing lower back pain that resulted in a numbing feeling going down to my legs called sciatica.

For the past 8 or so months, work has gotten a lot less stressful from a new owner making sure that work was divided properly among the workers and I only did the tasks that were required of me. Quite frankly, I'd even say things had gotten to be pretty boring. So, physical stress and my anxiety instantly stopped to an almost complete halt. At around the same time, about a year and a half prior, I'd been slowly educating myself on hair loss and slowly building a regime of things to put into my daily life. I believe for the times I still had stress in my life, I was able to halt my hair loss and even regain some thickness and fullness that people were starting to see. Of course that was already 5 years into hair loss.

Hair loss is not a gene that's particularly strong in my family. I have 11 brothers and from what I can tell, it only begins to be something noticeable around the age of 40. All my brothers close to my age all have full heads of hair with the exception of one, who I believe possibly experienced a large amount of anxiety as well. I understand anxiety itself has not been known to cause hair loss, but anxiety that causes the body to respond physically to stress can, and I believe my stress was stretched over a span of about 5 years. I'd noticed a drastic loss of hair within about a year after starting my job, and as time went by it only got worse. I always kept very long hair and I loved to have bangs, but that quickly became something that wasn't an option within the beginning years of working. Thru the help of facebook and my own documentation, I've been able to save a series of pictures of myself as the years went by.

I've made comments with each picture. The last few are not in order, just read the notes.

think its just ur stock standard male pattern baldness. The follicles you do have are starting to exhibit that very dry, frizzy and thin look that instantly screams DHT damage.

I've just uploaded 2 before and after pics of the top of my head. I think I've made mild progress..

:/ If it is that's pretty much suck. I guess the best way to find out for sure is to have a doctor test some blood work. I've been taking a Sh*t ton of vitamins for a while though.
