Telogen Effluvium or shedding cycle after 1 year and 2 months of finasteride?

Started finasteride 1 mg per day and nizoral 2% 3 times a week for my receiding hairline and thinning. it maintened everything for 1 year, then at september i started shedding crazy amounts and it reduced my density. overall im dealing with a stress caused by a depression. these are my photo before and after the buzz cut. dry pic with normal light, then flash of the smartphone, buzz cut was very very short with flashlight. im using locoidon lotion to tapper the shedding and hope to start regrow. , i also dermaroll onece every 10 days with 1.5 mm. i never had a shed before. does finasteride keep having shed cycle during the years of treatment?

You change medication brands with the Finasteride? Could be your stress shed as Finasteride never caused me shed, although some have claimed they have shed and then regrown.

You could add a better shampoo into the regime like Regenepure DR alongside the Nizoral.

I would also add hair oils or mixtures ones are great from Divine herbal they help with shedding.

Didnt change brand, it can be stress Telogen Effluvium, im dealing with the worst anxiety disorder of my life after a pill of mdma. I hope it will regrow,im not using minoxidil, ill add it if in 2/3 months i get no regrow in density
