About 2 months ago I began to notice a significant amount of hair loss. After each shower I was discouraged to see strands of hair fall into the sink as I combed my hair. I consider myself a pretty healthy person. I'm a 39 year old woman, and mother of three children. I have an appointment with a dermatologist to figure out what the problem is. I'm wondering if this is a peri menopausal thing or could it be stress?

sorry to hear that. perhaps a hormonal thing going on in your body? everything else having to do with hormones normal? I imagine it's 10 times as hard for a woman. let us know.
