Taking pills with coffee, tea, soda, whatever

Can you drink finasteride, vitamin supplements with any sort of liquid and it will be the same or does it have to be with water?


I doubt it, but I just want to make sure.

I am not even talking about anti androgens mainly. I want to know about all vitamins and stuff. More appropriate to actually not move it at all.

No... I wouldn't take anything but water with finasteride and any other drugs.

However I do think it helps absorb the vitamin into your system if you take certain supplements with orange Juice or any other source of vitamin C.

I take vitamin A with a glass of orange juice or just normal fruit juice.

No taking coffee or tea or anything else (apart from water) will interect with the drug and may decrease its effectiveness. I'm not 100% sure, but be on the safe side and take finasteride with water. Water has no chemicals which will interact with the drug.

He's got a point, and besides, water is great anyway!

Although, i get a really BAD gag reflex, i can ONLY JUST take a Propecia Pill with water, and even then sometimes i have to bite the pill, only once, but it's psycological and something i cant seem to get around so far.

It's a Problem as i take ALOT of suppliments (see Reg) and i mostly take them with food, i have them split up into 3. Morning, Afternoon, and Night w/ an empty stomach.

So i use the most minimal amount of food i can and take as much as i can per mouthfull. Probobly not the best aproach, and just as with other drinks, im pretty damn sure food `may` have an effect on the drugs, even though on most of the bottles, it says you can take them with food.

Anyone got any good tips on beating a Gag reflex? ive tried alot of things, even getting anestetic spray and numbing the back of my throat/mouth. all of these suppliments are MUCH bigger then a propecia pill. So i have to take them with food.

Iv'e got a few on my .Reg which you have to take on an empty stomach and without food, havnt had much luck gettings those ones into my system yet...

I strongly recommend that you chew-up ALL nutritional supplement tablets and capsules, and those of drugs, prior to swallowing (unless, of course, they are specifically designed to be "time released"). That will help improve their absorption.
