Taking Finasteride with a broken jaw...

Hello all-
I've been on finasteride for about 4 years, and had great results. No more shedding, and no additional loss. Recently I was in a bad bike accident and broke my jaw, which is now completely wired shut for the next 4-6 weeks. Does anyone have a suggestion for how to take finasteride in my condition? Is dissolving it in water the best idea? Will that reduce its effectiveness? All suggestions are welcome, and thanks for the help!

Man I am so sorry to hear that!

Yes plenty of people dissolve it. It breaks down to powder easily. We used to have a guy who dropped it in his coffee every morning.

I assume you're able to get a straw in your mouth for drinking/eating. Why not just suck up the split pill?

Yeah, just suck the pill up through a straw in a small glass of water.. If the pill is too big, just cut it up a bit. That way you won't have to deal with the taste of it having been dissolved in water.
