I'm trying something out in the interest of mental health. As lame as hair loss is, its hard to look for support when a lot of guys are continually negative and you never know if a post you are going to click on is going to be furthering the idea of "there is nothing you can do". Going to not visit the forums for a month and see how I do mentally.

Best regards and luck to Trent and Brasiliero, who were always helpful on this forum and positive. If you guys ever want a guy to b**ch to about hair loss, politics, or shady girls, hit up my email.

Good luck to everyone.

i thought about doing the same for a while actually. not because of negativity, well partly, but just to try and get my mind off hairloss for a bit. i've actually had a really rough week, and things aren't looking as good as they were at the 6 month mark. hopefully you come back in a month with some good results!

Give finasteride about a year before the sheds stop creating crazy concern and you'll see a positive progress. I truly hope you guys never experience the depression I did because of hair loss.

i think i already have man. i was so far down about four months ago, that i was considering suicide. luckily helping people on this site, and hearing positive posts from people like HairLossTalk.com, BHD and tynan helped me out of it. seriously guys, you don't know how much you helped me. that's the main reason i stick around so much, i know how much this sh*t hurts and i want to help.

yeah, looks strange to see written out, but the thought had crossed my mind. Axon, you're a pretty no bullshit guy, what do you think about adding minoxidil before your full year is up on propecia? my hairline needs some work, and i don't see the propecia filling it in in just six more months.

Hey Brother,

I know what you're saying, and its frustrating especially when we are all in the same boat looking for answers. Any who, I think I might take that same approach, its time for a little vacation. :p

Well my friend, thanks for all the support and help, you are a classy guy! Be cool, be safe and keep your head up! Ill shoot you over an e-mail once in a while to check in on you....

Take care,
Tony

I think it's an excellent idea. I saw sudden and notable improvement on my hairline at month 10. Keep in mind that the crown showed results in month 3.

I've been on minoxidil/Finasteride for my entire regimen.

Trent man, dont ever let your mind take over like that. If you ever need to vent, shoot me an e-mail or something man. Life can be hard and seem unfair at times, but there are also great times and happy moments. Just focus on the future and try to apply your negative energy towards something positive and keep your head up!

Be cool main!
