Switching from minoxidil 2% to 5%

Yo Boys,


Just got minoxidil Extra Strength 5%... What can I expect with respect to side effects... Will it dry out my hair even more than 2% does... Will there be more irritation... Will I shed again or more... What do you guys know about this through reading or through experience...

I've reacted well to 2% but why not completely go for it with 5%!!!!!!!!!

I switched from 2 to 5. No change other than the solution itself is greasy compared to the 2% liquid.

You're right Bruce... Just put it on and it's greasy and it's taking longer to dry... How long should i wait before i can style it or blow dry it with cool air. Don't have much time to wait around for it to dry.

Uh I don't really style my hair, but it takes about 30 minutes to get my 5% to dry and allow for styling.
