switching from 2% minoxidil to 5%

I'm planning to switch from 2% minoxidil (Rogaine) to the 5% version as it is supposedly more effective. I've been using minoxidil for 2 months now. I've had no problems thus far from the 2% solution. Are there any probable bad effects from this changeover?

I do not think there would be any bad effects. You might experience a shed. I'd recommend you get the foam as it's a lot better than the solution.

I'm from India and as far as i know, the foam version is not yet available here unfortunately. Purchasing it online would be prohibitively expensive for me. So i'll have to stick with the liquid for the time being.
I've been on 1mg finasteride for 3 months and on 2% minoxidil for 2 months and i believe that i've started to get reasonable success already especially in the crown area. I will take pics soon and post the before and after pics soon. I'm not entirely sure whether its just my imagination or i'm actually responding well to the treatments.
