Surgery + Medication & Major Shed

I recently had nose surgery that required me to be on methylprednisolone (corticosteroid) for 7 days. After the fact I have been shedding like crazy despite continuing to take Finasteride and applying Minoxidil as usual. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I am assuming the corticosteroid was the culprit, but I can't think of any other reason for the shed.

I had two surgeries in 9 months frame where I was put on general anesthesia. First surgery was in June 2013 and second surgery was in March 2014. **** loads of hair shedded from each surgery. I still have not recovered from second surgery. This can happen for general anesthesia, but I am not sure if this applies to your case.
