Just wanting to know how many of us make an effort to tan. Whether it be sunbeds etc or just try and get out in the sun as much as possible. Some don't need a tan though :)

I sunbed about 3times a week, but I would prefer a standup one. I heard they only take about 9min and do your whole body. Can anyone explain?

If you are the type of person who fights thinning hair you will definately be the type who notices "crow's feet" "leathery skin" and wrinkles and tries to do something about that. In addition to sun's assotiation with skin cancers it is responsible for premature aging. In my mind it's not worth seeking a tan... I have a slight one, but dont actively seek sun exposure and do wear sunscreen. There are artificial "tanning" products that are pretty good, not too expensive and dont require exposure to damaging rays.... http://www.lyricsondemand.com/b/bazluhr ... yrics.html

I wear SPF 45 and I still get tanned/burned/freckled. My skin is ultra-sensitive. 15 minutes with nothing on will burn me lobster style.

Are you a ginger?

My mate is a ginger NW2.5 and his slick areas are so sensitive the doctor advises permanent sunblock for him all year round as he is at high risk of skin cancer.

I hope the poor bugger doesn't end NW6, he'll have to wear a hat or a wig or move to the Arctic Circle.
