Does anyone no of any negative effect spraying your scalp with sunscreen could have, may head is shaved at about a 2 now and Telogen Effluvium sun will definetly burn my scalp if i dont use sunscreen down the shore

this won't help your question..but i recently just got a burn on my shaved head.

I don't think it will have a bad effect apart from making your head greasier. This is never good for male pattern baldness as the DHT accumulates in sebum.

Wash it off when you get indoors or investigate the pressed face powders which also contain sunscreens. Jane Iredale has a very good range and these are actually beneficial for the skin as they contain minerals and the sunscreen in them is more effective as it is a physical barrier sunscreen rather than a chemical one.

Use P20. You just apply once a day and it's non greasy when it dries.

sunburns cause inflammation which may speed hairloss... use the sunscreen... there are spray on and greaseless sunscreens to choose from.

as i just shaved my head last night i will go shopping for some sunscreen this am : )

How about mix up your days with a hat aswell? Hats wont accelerate male pattern baldness and if its shaved, wont mess up your hair. Thats what id do... but hey... ive never shaved my head...

Doesn't that just block UVB? It stops you burning but doesnt prevent skin ageing from UVA I think. Anyway its good for a shaved head just for the summer.

It just stops you burning. But you have to make sure you apply it in the correct manner covering the skin you want to protect. Otherwise you will burn like a mother....
