might be a stupid question, but does sunlight hitting scalp right after application affect the minoxidil at all?

Hmm that happend to me today. I like when the sun hits my head. The sun in small doses has healing properties! Depends how hot the sun is beating down on ur head and for how long. If its right after application, then some could evaporate as result of the sun hence loosing some effectivness. Buy Rogaine Foam dries very quickly so I doubt it would be an issue. If anything I think the sun would help. Long as you dont sweat alot in the process.
