Hey guys, great forum.
I've learned loads from lurking on here over recent months - kudos to the likes of Bryan, collegechemistrystudent, Michael Barry, Stephen Foote and countless others - but I'd be really grateful if someone could summarise some of the 'lessons learned' in the course of debate on the forum:
- our emerging knowledge about causes of hair loss, e.g. the role of T relative to DHT, the role of 5AR1 relative to 5AR2, etc etc
- relative efficacy and safety of different treatments, not just averages of hair counts a la the Merck Propecia 5yr study graph, but percentages of responders
- key remaining areas of intellectual dispute on the forum
Most academic debate concentrates on areas of disagreement, could we have a sticky thread the gives a definitive overview of the areas of consensus?
I know that we already have the FAQs on the main site, but they seem a little dated and unspecific.
Thanks!
