Hi guys,

So I'm 20 years old and first noticed my hairline starting to recede when I was 19 (around feb 2010) this continued and then I noticed some thinning on the top Dec 2010

I originally planed to take propecia when I first noticed hairlost being pretty young I really didn't want to (and still don't) want to loose my hair but I realise there isn't so much I can do, I read a lot of horror stories on here about it and ended up doing a years internship abroad( couldn't afford a years supply) so I never followed through.

now that my hairloss has progressed I regret that decision. I'm back home in June andplan on giving propecia a go then!

But realistically is there any chance some of my hair will grow back or it time to buzz down and just get on with it.

I've attached some photos. First one is with flash second one without and last of the hairline, just any advice or input would be appreciated :)

I tried to put them in image tags but it didn't work sorry!

rogaine is also something id consider but I'd prefer to try propecia first.

Go for "The Big 3". Propecia, Rogaine, and Nizoral shampoo. The earlier you jump on it, the better your chances of success are. I regrew about 80% of the thin spot on my crown...and I wish I would have started on propecia when I first started to notice the thinning :-/

Propecia looks about right for you.

I'd add that see how it goes then add the minoxidil at a later date.

I might be wrong on this but i don't think delaying the use of minoxidil will dampen your chances of growing back hair.
