I'm 29, have been losing hair for years now, just hasn't been a very rapid loss.

Anyways, forehead is getting bigger, noticing a loss of hair directly down the middle, top of my head and the typical top middle of my head.

I've read so many different combinations of treatments that it truly is head spinning. So I thought I'd post some pics and get some proven reccomendation from people on this board.

Yeah, the Big 3 are your way to go.

Propecia(Finasteride)+Rogaine fom(Minoxidil)+Nizoral shampoo.

Maybe see a doctor and make sure that there is no other health reason for your hair loss and then start!

I'll post another pic tonight since I missed the part that really concerns me. The place that has been noticeably thinning is the front/top/middle.

Thanks for the feedback so far.

Minoxidil is your way to go. I think you will be amazed by the results you will get.

Here are some additional pics. The thinning down the middle is what concerns me. Will the recommendations above help out with this middle part?

I would just second what the other guys have said, start looking into the big 3.

All the long timers on here say the big3, and that minoxidil helps the top and back. Propecia helped my hairline, but I just started minoxidil foam to help fill in the back.

Looking at the pics again, Propecia/finasteride has not done much for my crown. I'd seriously look into minoxidil stuff for the crown, you look like where I am but a little better, and I'm 39.

Yes, you still have a decent amount of hair. Use finasteride(propecia, finpecia or whatever) to make sure you keep what you have. Then add some minoxidil twice a day to thicken up your already existing hair, and grow some new. Add some retin-a to your minoxidil solution. If you cant do this buy separately some retin-a cream and apply it at nightime. I just suggest you combine them because it will be much easier. Use nizoral shampoo 2-3 times per week as an additional weapon.

I have the feeling that if you do all this, in 3-4 months, you will be posting in the success stories section of this forum.
