Hey there,
I'm new to this forum so forgive me just coming on and asking for help without really contributing.
While I don't have any dodgy photos to show you, I'm thinning at the front where my centre parting is widening and hairline is slowly receding. Ideally I'd like to retain the hair I have left and strengthen/encourage regrowth in the follicles that aren't yet dead.

Option 1)
What I need advice on is that I've been to a good few clinics in the UK and asked for advice from doctors and such and I just don't know what I should believe. I'm quite convinced by the treatment offered by the Bèlgravia centre in London however they're wanting me to pay £1,500 for 12 months of treatment with propecia and minoxidil 12.5%. This isn't a problem for me however the ongoing cost of £900 a year (for life) to maintain whatever results I get seems a bit insane. Plus they're suggesting a laser comb in addition which to me sounds like utter gimmick.

Option 2)
On the other hand, Boots are offering £45 a month (£540 a year) for propecia which seems fine but I dunno how reliable they are, whether the propecia is as effective as the variety from Bèlgravia etc.

Option 3)
Finally I've been offered 12-months of Dutasteride for £755 from The Hospital Group. I've done my research and Dutasteride sounds like it would be the most effective treatment due to my age but I've heard bad things about the company and why don't the others suggest Dutasteride if it's so good?

Sorry if my plea for help is a touch rude but this is a big decision for me and I don't want to leap into a £900 / £755 / £540 a year habit if I can just buy Regaine off the shelf and get the same results.

Thanks for reading, any help would be appreciated.
