Just coming on here for a brief update of me and where I am at and also trying to get some feedback. Been on finasteride for 3 years, minoxidil for 2, follice spray for about 3, and just added spironolactone topical cream last week. After starting Rogaine I saw my hairline basically push the thinning areas back a bit but I have seen some villus hairs coming in in that area and several millimeters below that point. Therefore I believe that the minoxidil is working to regrow hair and help things up top, though I am not too thrilled about the further thinning. Nevertheless, I still feel I am in relatively good shape considering in the past two to three years my hair loss has not worsened other than that, which I attribute largely to a "side-effect" of the minoxidil.
My main goal for the future would be to maintain, and to try to get the villus hairs to become terminal. There is actually a nice amount of regrowth going on but they are staying as short villus hairs. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I should proceed from here out?
I would add pics but they really don't show anything quite clearly. I am somewhere between a NW2 and 3, but honestly quite in the middle.
