Sudden CRAZY itch

Do you know of any way to eliminate or reduce scalp itch? I’ve been using Dr. Lee's minoxidil 5% and Revivogen for about 2 years without much problem, but now I’m getting this crazy itch that never goes away. I even find myself itching in the middle of the night I apply the minoxidil 1x a day at night, 3 hours before I apply the Revivogen. I haven't changed anything in my regimen. What do you think is causing this sudden itching? Any suggestions to eliminate it?

2 things really helped my itchy scalp -

tricomin and spironolactone 2%, both seem to really calm my scalpdown and take away the redness.
