Sudden And Rapid Increase In Hair Loss

I'm 31 years old and for the last 6 months I've noticed a huge increase in my hair loss. Im experiencing loss from:

1. My scalp (mostly at the front/temples and on the crown).
2. My pubic region
3. My eyebrows
Also, a side note but potentially linked in some way to hormone changes, my fingernails have receded over the past few years also.

I could only find a few threads on here which mention pubic hair loss, and most of these threads devolved into joke comments pretty quickly, which is understandable, but not that useful! There were some points of interest- notably that people seem to report this along with dupa hair loss (which I believe mine is not).

I accept that I am suffering from male pattern baldness, but am interested in how suddenly and aggressively this has increased over the past few months, along with hair loss from other areas. I have visited 2 dermatologists and had blood tests which showed nothing of note (quite low DHT), other than low, but not *very* low vitamin D. I am now taking a vitamin D supplement. The blood tests also included thyroid indicators, which were within the normal range. Finally the dermatologist also took a hair sample which did not indicate telogen effluvium.

I am still interested in the potential for a hyperactive thyroid, as this runs in my family (as does male pattern baldness I should add, though not noticeable until late 40s/50s) and I have loss from my eyebrows. At this point is there anything else I could/should do regarding testing the thyroid? Is an endocrinologist going to offer anything other than more of the same blood tests?

Any comments or advice would be much appreciated. I want to exhaust every avenue before considering the hair loss medication currently available.
