Have any of you switched from rogaine/regaine to Kirkland successfully without losing results or suffering a massive shed?

Im switching from regaine to kirkland in next few days. I bought regaine one month supply for 30£! i can get 6months worth of generic for that..hence the switch.

if you are getting results with the brand name rogaine do not switch ,people will tell you that kirklands is the exct same as rogaine but having used both i can tell you that kirkland is a lot different to rogaine,i dont get white bits in my hair when i use rogine liquid but when i used kirkland there was white bits everywhere, they might be as effective as each other i do not know, but they are completley different in my opinion, also kirkland as a much stronger smell to it than regaine

I used different types of minoxidil all the time, whatever is cheapest ill use. I've used CVS, Walgreens, Kirkland, Roagaine. Never had a shed and I think people saying they did, is in their head. Just look at the ingredients, they are all the same.

I've heard that you won't shed, so I think your safe. I'm making a minoxidil switch, too. From Equate to Kirkland(saves 10 bucks on 6mos). But not for a couple of weeks.

Let us know if you have a shed. Thanks.

I used Rogaine Brand for nearly a year and then switched to the generics 4 years ago and did not notice any shed and in fact kept getting hair gains. minoxidil is minoxidil as long as it is the same percentage as what you were using. To this day (5 years later) I still use Generic minoxidil and still have my hair.
