hi, everyone. I am actually a frequent visitor for this forum. Its just that I never register and involve in any discussions in this forum.

the situation is this, I'm 21 this year. and had hairloss for almost 2 years already. though the shedding is quite slow i mean not as aggressive as others may encounter. The visible bald part is at the vertex and as for the temple, i can see the sign of receding. Then i have the courage to see derma who prescribe me propecia and i have been taking propecia for only a week and I noticed that the number of hair loss is decreasing. is this a sign of success?

I am also using minoxidil...as for this, what i wonder is IF i gain back my hairl and i would like to stop using minoxidil but continue to take propecia. is this acceptable? i mean would i be able to maintain the hair gained?

thanks for responding. as I have mentioned in my previous post, my hair condition is getting better and better until today, I wore cap the whole day- sweating all day long under the sun. and when i bathed, MAN, A WHOLE LOT OF THEM.

now, my question: will hairloss got worse if our head exposed to sun more than usual?

i apply rogaine to my scalp and i wear a hat afterwards and i dont experience any shedding... maybe your shedding is caused by something else? alot of ppl say shedding comes and goes try to wait a couple of weeks and then see wut happens

Propecia will not work in just one week.

I would say it takes AT LEAST couple months to be effective.
