Every time I have a buzz cut (level 2 or 3) and do a tug/pinch test everyday, I end up with 2-3 hairs on my fingers. These are both dark and light hairs.

However, a month later when its grown a few inches they shed less and and get far less hairs between my fingers when I do the tug test.

Dunno if anyone has experinced this but my hair behaves like this everytime I buzz it.

Does anyone have an explanation...

Mine does the opposite.

The only explanation I can give is that you are doing the pull test after a hair-cut and you are getting the hairs which have been cut, but still remained in your hair.

Or that you are pulling the hair closer to the root and therefore applying more force?

I thought the same the first time I did it, but this gone on for a month.

Not sure if minoxidil has something to do with it...
