Strange very localized shedding (minoxidil or general anesthesia?)
Hi
I took minoxidil during only 1 week and then, stopped it (1ml-1 time/day).
I am on it again since 2 days because I feel to be forced to :
I put it all over the scalp during the intial week, but it was enough to trigger a shedding two weeks later, but it oddly seem to be very localized ...!
When I did a pull test on a strand of hair on random locations (mid sclap / front or crown) there 1-3 hair to come, but on the left side (not the right) of the back of the head, only in 1 small point, there is over 10 weak hairs to come!! I did it several times, I even got 15 ... Each times is the same, it seems infinite (but I think it's not...).
-Does someone has a explanation for this?
Very strange this minoxidil, and now I begin it again.
But my will would be to stop (I am already at 5 month of propecia so, I think it sounds more clever to wait and go on minoxidil at 8/12 months of propecia if no improvement with it only). But now I am too affraid to stop because the shedding process has begun.
-Does someone knows the way hairs falls after surgery when and if it does, because I had a general anesthesia there is twenty days, and if it is known that maybe it is localized, like in my case, maybe the minoxdil may be not the culprit and that, could make me stop it with much less stress.
