Hi there.

I have been using ru in addtion to dutasteride and minoxidil for 12-13 months now.

I have never had a shed until i received a new ru batch a few weeks ago and the shed is really bad. Maybe bad batch although i can not say for sure. It seems like too much of a coincidence to have a shed right after the new batch after not having one for over one year of treatment.

My question is if I stop ru alone after using it for so long will ru have made my hair follicles more sensitive to androgen's thus making my situation worse or will they be upregulated for a few days and return back to normal. I plan to continue with my other treatments.

I don't see how a shed is possible after only WEEKS of an alteration. That's impossible. If it was the new RU effecting your follicles, then FIRST, the follicle would respond by entering telogen. Then it takes 3-4 months for the fiber to be released. So, it must be something else. Seasonal shedding is something that is very real. It happens to me and is different for every person. Or perhaps you could have Telogen Effluvium from something? I doubt it's the RU.

Although even when i was severely balding i never really shed hairs or if i did i didn't notice it and since starting treatments i haven't shed at all and the only thing that changed was the new ru. Maybe it was a coincidence and i'm just having a shed but im going to stop ru regardless and see how it goes the next few months.

I'd be interested to hear your experience with it. The first two batches seemed fine to me although i was on a ton of other treatments so who knows if it worked or not.

Yes, would like to hear specific evidence to support this. I have heard time and time again that Kane is reputable from several forum leaders. And every now and again, people come out saying his RU is illegitimate, but have absolutely no evidence to support it. I got a my FIRST batch around the same time as you, in late January. I can tell it's legit, because it has almost completely alleviated my scalp inflammation.

I have, thoroughly and the only evidence I could find is purely anecdotal. I mean, I did find some evidence of his language barrier, and perhaps and inconsistency with shipping, but that's about it...perhaps I am missing something? You show me scientific proof (i.e. a molecular breakdown) of his RU analyzed by a reputable lab, and I will conclude what you have. However, the only accounts I have seen where members have sent in his RU for purity testing, it has come back 99% pure, or above.

That being said...I seriously would like to know if there is any stock in what you're saying, because I don't want to be using fake crap. Can you just copy and paste your info into this thread, so we can all understand how Kane is illegit. It will only take you five minutes. We need some figures.

Which batch number do you have if you don't mind me asking?
