stopping and restarting applications

I stopped using minoxidil for a couple of weeks because of what I thought were some side effects. Turns out the sides were likely unrelated, which is good news. The bad news is that I had NO IDEA how much of a minoxidil dependency I'd picked up. I've just started reapplying the stuff like I used to, but I'm shedding hair like crazy.

So basically my question is this: is there any chance of minoxidil losing its effectiveness if I've interrupted the applications for a couple of weeks? Will it be as effective as it was before?

These might seem like stupid questions, but I just can't believe how different my hair looks after stopping applications for only two weeks.

No, minoxidil loses his effectiveness, usually, after 2-3 months since you stop it

Will it be as effective as it was before?

I think so, use it 2 times daily
