I stopped Proscar for approximately 6 and a half months. I've been back on it now for almost 4.
I had stopped taking it because I was having ridiculous side effects but toward the 6 month mark I started noticing hair loss so I'm back on it now despite the fact that I'm getting the ridiculous side effects again (I don't want to discuss the side effects here--you can google my screenname if you're curious.)
Anyway, ever since I've been back on it my hair loss has really kicked up a notch. The hair loss is really becoming visibly noticeable whereas before no one could tell I was losing hair.
Anyone have any idea how much longer it will be until I stop shedding? Anyone have a similar experience, i.e. stopping and starting Proscar?
