hey everyone, am in need of some serious help. been on propecia and minoxidil for 7 months. my problem has been with minoxidil. when i first applied it i lost some some of my hairline, a few months later i switched from spraying minoxidil to applying it with a dropper, and guess what? another shed, now im applying it once a day with a dropper and to be honest, i dont think its doing anything, but at the same time, im scared to stop, and on top of that the hair that i lost in the beginning with it, has not grown back, any advice anyone?

if you've lost a lot of hair, and you are shedding continuously for 7 months, i think you should stop. You might have a negative reaction to it, or some allergy. I don't know it does not sound good.

How much hair do you think you've lost in % ? 20%? or more?

im not sure, but i know for sure i lost some of my hairline to it, i would say im continuestly shedding, but everytime ive noticed a change its involved minoxidil, on top of that, when i apply it i get a light headache and it really itches, any suggestions? how can i taper off it so i dont have a massive shed from stopping?

light headache is caused by low blood pressure. I would strongly recommend lowering the application of minoxidil. Simply apply less and see how it goes.

it's not going to stop over a night. It takes a few days maybe a week. So instead of applying 1ml try .5ml for a few days. I had the same problem but I lowered the dosage and after a week my headache and dizziness stopped then I slowly increased the dosage of minoxidil. Sometimes your body needs to adjust to it.
