Starting to notice a difference in hairline. Should I seek help?

Hello there,

I won't dive into my whole story but I am 23 years old and I am starting to wonder if the hair near my temple area is receding.
I have read before that "mature hairlines" tend to occur meaning hairlines change with age anyway.

I've begun to notice some thinner hairs near the temples but nothing too drastic has changed since my teens compared to now other than maybe a slight bit near the temple area itself.

I have really thick hair and a cowlick. My crown seems to be fine. My dad was receding significantly by age 35 and two out of his three brothers were the same. My mom's side however was way more promising as my grandfather had solid hair into his 60's and my uncle is in his late 40's now still with hair.

That is why I have been so unsure as to what to take from my situation. When I pull my hair back on the temple area it does form an M shape but the hairs look solid otherwise.

I've seen my doctor a few times and she says I have nothing to worry about but I still tend to think the worst.

Should I seriously look into treatment?

Looking for some opinions. Here is a most recent photo.

Looks like a mature hairline to me. May be wrong. I'd just keep an eye on it for now.

I agree with the poster above. Just looks like a mature hairline. Keep an eye on it, don't worry about treatments yet.

Thanks for responding so quick. I appreciate it.
Glad to have two opinions on it. I will continue to keep an eye on my hairline and I know myself if it gets worse I would be the first person to see what I can do about it.
