Starting/stopping Rogaine? + Front Of The Hairline Q?

Firstly, I'd love a credible answer to a question:
I watched a video that said when you stop using Rogaine, your balding will be worse than if you'd never started in the first place, but is that true? my understanding is that your hair would become the same as if you'd never started, not worse?

Secondly, Is Rogaine effective for the temples and front of the hairline?

Thank you!

Min can be effective there yes, but keep in mind that it doesn’t work for everyone. Your response to Min is as unique as your DNA.

As to your other questions...

If you stop using Min, your balding will appear worse than when you began, but that’s not due to the Min, it’s due to the progression of male pattern baldness. U

Min causes hair to grow in thicker. This helps disguise new loss, but it is a double edged sword; your hair will look thicker, but losing It will be far more noticeable. Min will not stop the progression of male pattern baldness, but it will mitigate the effects on your appearance for a time. When you stop using Min, your hair doesn’t revert to where it was when you started, it reverts to where you would naturally be at the time of cessation.

In other words, if you start Min you must continue using it to keep its effects. When you stop your hair will revert to where it would be at the present time had you never used Min at all.
The only scenario where this wouldn’t be the case is if your male pattern baldness stopped progressing prior to beginning a Min regiment.

Unfortunately, Min gains will eventually succumb to male pattern baldness regardless as It loses its effect over time. This is why the Min/finasteride combo is such a popular choice; Min to thicken it, finasteride to keep it.

Wow thank you Who Farted, I really appreciate this response. There is a lot for me to think about here, I may have a follow up, but for now I really appreciate your input and support!

Anyone else have thoughts on this, especially on the front and temples?

its interesting to hear that Min will eventually loose its effect. I wonder how you are supposed to know when its no longer doing anything for you, and when to stop trying with it/spending on it.

The progression of male pattern baldness my ***... How can you explain then the tons of people who had slow progression and they used Min for a month or two, the shedding made them loose a lot of hair that never grew after they stopped it, me included in those persons? I used it twitce and same results...

First of all, you need to have good amounts of an enzyme that makes minoxidil work, if you don't have them, it will only make you loose hair that will never grow back, because that hair would have fallen anyways but in time, not as fast as minoxidil makes it too fall... Besides the fact that the shitty hair that it gives you has different texture, it makes your whole hair look and feel like sh*t, it's the shittiest medicine for hair loss ever invented and that is on the market... Not to talk about the sides that you could get and most get them even if they don't admit it, like high pulse, low blood pressure, dark circles under eyes, bad skin texture due to the depletion of collagen in the skin, plus hair growing all over the body, called hypertrichosis...

Here is the study that shows clearly you must have a fair amount of this enzyme for it to work in the first place, and if you don't have it, just waste of time, health, money and hair that could have fallen way longer than minoxidil will make it too fall..

Doppler laser imaging predicts response to topical minoxidil in the treatment of female pattern hair loss.

Same thing for men also, has the same usage and same working mechanics!

Obviously this is not an officially peer reviewed scientific study. But, what type of study was this, 3 people in a basement, five rats in a cage, etc?

Yikes!
I ordered this min over a month ago, but held off using it on account of hearing that it can actually make your hair loss worse.
Than after reading Who Farted's response, i was all ready to start using it.
Now Im scared and questioning again..
