I have seen post where ppl get regrow in the crown expiernce receeding on temple... is it just them or is it what it is supposed to happen?

I am using it for my crown, not the frontal.

By I heard people started the treatment in the crown, has lost hair in the frontal... are there any correlation??

To my understanding when you start to thin it effects both places. For me and most others you have the crown first and then it progresses to the frontal region. From there the front works its way back and the crown goes forward until they eventualy meet and your hair is gone.

Why not 5% minoxidil??

I dont understand why some people only go with the 2% (unless their using retin-a).

For me, since I am a Norwood 2.5, I have to much exposed scalp above the temples. Since it is so greasy and shiny after it is aplied, I don't want to look weird at work. So I use 2% in the morning on weekdays. After all, this whole thing is about looks right?

The formula for 2% is less greasy than 5%?

I've never tried. I thought 2% also contained 50% PPG which is the main cause of the grease anyway.

It doesn't even compare. The 2% dries in about 45 minutes max! It is a much thinner liquid and is actually harder to apply. You waste about a 5th of a ml running down your face it is so watery. But like I said, no one could ever tell at work I was using it. I feel that using 2% 5 times a week makes very little diff in my treatment.

Interesting. I am still in love with Dr. Lee's PPG-Free formula. It's dry in less than 15 minutes. Doesn't even compare to OTC minoxidil.
