Starting Minoxidil. What kind/brand for a newbie?

Hi all! Referred here from reddit. I've still got good coverage overall but my crown is thinning (enough to still peek out when I comb it back).

I've been on 1mg finasteride for about 11 months, no major changes, and my derm recommended starting some basic rogaine/minoxidil. I may also try a derma roller.

I was wondering what version of Minoxidil you all recommend as easiest to apply and least stinky? I don't mind spending a little more for that, whatever it takes to make Min a more comfortable part of my daily routine.
