Starting finasteride while on Saw Palmetto

Going on finasteride soon, but am already on Saw Palmetto (for about a year). Would there be any harm in doubling up, and then tapering off the SP? Anyone done this before?

I am currently doing this, I'm too scared to drop SP as it may have benefited me in some way. So I have continued taking them both.

I would say you can stop the saw palmetto. Personally, I tried saw palmetto in the beginning and i dont feel like it did anything. Plus ive heard of people getting sexual sides from saw palmetto alone...and i've heard combining saw palmetto AND finasteride increases the chances of those sides.

I'd say finasteride is powerful enough by itself. But thats just my opinion..
