I'm 27 years old and I started taking finasteride when I noticed that im losing too many hairs per day and my scalp was visible with a strong light on it. But anyway, even without the finasteride, I had hairs all over my head with only specific areas that my hairs over there were really, really thin.
Then, I started with finasteride about 9 months ago, I experienced a great response and I had full hair just like I was 16. It was amazing and impressive results only after 3 months since i started taking it - A Full complete hair.
After 7 months since I started - I suddenly stopped taking it immediately (about 2 months ago). And after 4 weeks since I stopped, I experienced a massive hair drop. Like I never seen before. It was pretty scary to be honest. Im still in the middle of it. and its going on like that for about a month and a half.
Now, my hair is almost at the same point as I was at starting point (9 months ago). I started taking again a week ago but I'm worried that I wont enjoy from the same great results I had few months ago. I'm also using minoxidil 5% twice a day since 9 months ago together with the finasteride and with the minoxidil, I never stopped. (If it changes anything)
So what do you guys think? Should I be worried that my lost hairs wont come back? Or is it okay and my hair will respond the same?
